1. Organizer
The “My Venezia Summer Contest” is organized exclusively by the Venezia Resort hotel
(hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”), based in Rhodes, Greece. The contest is not
associated in any way with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc., nor is it sponsored, supported,
or organized by them. Participation in the contest is solely the responsibility of the participant
towards the Organizer.
2. Contest Duration
The contest begins on June 1, 2025, and ends on September 30, 2025 (“contest period”).
Any entries submitted after this date will not be considered.
3. Eligibility
All natural persons over 18 years of age, regardless of nationality, who have an active
Instagram account and comply with these terms, are eligible to participate.
4. How to Participate
To enter the contest validly, participants must:
● Post a photo or reel on their Instagram account related to their stay at Venezia
Resort during the summer of 2025.
● Follow the official Venezia Resort Instagram account (@venezia_resort_faliraki).
● Tag @venezia_resort_faliraki in the post.
● Use the hashtag #myveneziasummer in the caption.
Compliance with all the above is a necessary condition for participation.
By completing all the participation steps, the participant automatically and unconditionally
accepts all the present Terms and Conditions.
5. Winner Selection
After the contest period ends, a judging panel appointed by the Organizer will select:
● One (1) best photo.
● One (1) best reel.
Selections will be based on aesthetics, creativity, theme, and connection to the hotel’s brand.
Winners will be announced by November 30, 2025, via the official Venezia Resort Instagram
account.
6. Prizes
Each winner will receive:
● A 5-night stay for the best photo and a 7-night stay for the best reel at Venezia
Resort for the 2026 season.
The exact dates of stay will be arranged in consultation with the hotel and will depend on
availability. The type of room and the specific arrival and departure dates will be determined
solely based on the hotel's availability during the selected period.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
7. Copyright & License
By participating, entrants declare that they are the creators and copyright holders of the
submitted content and that the post does not violate third-party rights.
The Organizer reserves the right to republish, use, or display the submitted photos and
videos in any medium (print or digital) for advertising and promotional purposes, without
additional compensation or approval from the creator, with explicit reference to the
participant’s Instagram username.
8. Organizer’s Liability
The Organizer bears no responsibility for any technical problems, delays, or failures that
may occur due to connection issues or Instagram’s functionality, or other technical factors.
The Organizer is not liable for content that may violate platform rules or applicable laws.
9. Contest Modification or Cancellation
The Organizer reserves the right to modify the contest terms, postpone the dates, or cancel
the contest for serious reasons, such as technical issues, force majeure, or low participation.
Any changes will be announced via the official Instagram account and/or the hotel’s website.
10. Personal Data Protection
The Organizer collects and processes the necessary personal data of participants solely for
the purposes of the contest, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation
(GDPR - Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
The details provided by the winners (name, contact information) will be used only for
communication and arrangement of the stay and will not be shared with third parties without
consent.
Participants retain the right to access, correct, and delete their data, as well as the right to
lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
11. Applicable Law - Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Greek Law. Any disputes arising shall fall under the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of Rhodes.
